LVWC Goals
The Lago Vista Women's Club strives to improve the quality of life for women in our community through education, informational programs, and special events, while providing financial assistance in the form of scholarship awards as well as recognized educational support and community health assistance for the betterment of the Lago Vista area.

Membership is open to all women who reside within the Lago Vista area at least three months of the year. One may attend as a guest one time. Membership is limited to 350. When membership is available, an applicant shall be accepted on receipt of a written application and payment of dues. Annual dues for the year are payable at the March, April and May meetings.

Monthly Luncheons
Arriving at LUNCHEONS around 11 a.m. ensures plenty of socializing before announcements and entertainment. Seating at 11:50 for lunch at 12 Noon. Meetings are always the SECOND TUESDAY ~ Sept through May. Meals are now $15.00.  There are LVWC members at the information tables who can help you with membership, activities, email, and general information. Be sure to view the club's historical scrapbook - starring YOU!

Each year our annual Gala raises funds for community nonprofit agencies that support the Northshore community and for scholarships for girls graduating from Lago Vista High School.  Other funds are donated to the philanthropic fund through our Monthly Surprise drawing and for wine at our luncheons.
One project, The Pat Valz Fund, is named for deceased former president Pat Valz, who started a partnership with Austin Symphony to provide Lago Vista students access to the world's best music.
This past year we presented over $35000 in scholarships and community grants.  Through the years our club has raised over $375,000 -- all this stays in our Northshore community.  Please join the effort and help us continue our tradition of spreading donated dollars all over town.
